As a church we are entering a period of listening to God, to what He is calling us to be, to increase our desire for mission, to discern our purpose and vision. It has been said, “It is not the Church of God that has a mission in the world, but the God of mission who has a Church in the world.” We want to ask what is God doing that CNC can join in with. You are invited to join the 30 days of prayer and fasting to help us listen to God and help discover what He is doing.

Update 30th November:
Well done everyone. We made it through the 30 Days of Prayer and Fasting. We have been listening to God and praying for CNC. To see where God is moving in Cheltenham and to increase our desire for mission. Thank you to all who took part.
So, what next?
1) Please feedback any words, pictures or verses you had to email@example.com or your Connect Network leaders. We’ve had a few throughout the month, but now is the time to send in anything else you have heard. The Mission Action Network will sift through these as we prepare for Sarah joining us next year. And if you didn’t hear anything, that’s ok. Thanks for praying. We know that God hears our prayers and wants us to pray to Him.
2) You may be inspired to keep praying for CNC and our mission, and so perhaps the Mission Action Network is for you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if so.
3) If you have liked having a daily reflection, here are a few recommendations:
The Fuelcast – A free inspirational video delivered to your email every weekday. Only 3 to 5 minutes long with a range of speakers, including Hellie Brunt. https://www.thefuelcast.com/

#FollowTheStar daily Christmas reflections – Sign up to the #FollowTheStar Christmas journey and receive reflections each day from Christmas Day to Epiphany (5 January) to your inbox. https://www.churchofengland.org/followthestar There is also an app for this.

Whatever you do, keep praying, keep listening to God, keep expecting.
We might well do it all again next year.
