So this is my last monthly notes before I move on and I have to begin with a huge thank you. For the incredibly generous gift you gave to Alex and me on Friday, for the prayers and good-wishes, and for the near
decade of friendship and fellowship, thank you.
Now it is time to think about the future. What will CNC be like in five years’ time? What are the dreams you are holding on to, what are the prayers you have been praying, what is God saying to you? CNC is an
amazing family of Christians, a wonderful loving faith community, but going forward it must be more than that. It is time to look out and ask if the church is committed to ministry in South Cheltenham? And if you are
then what opportunities are there for new ways that CNC can demonstrate the transforming love of God, and the gospel of the kingdom of Jesus. These are the questions you now have to answer before you can think about the kind of leader you might want in the future.
I am excited for what God has in store for CNC and will be praying,
from not too far away, that he makes clear the way and pours out his
Spirit upon you. With all my love in Christ. Ash xx
