Following the application process and interviews in July, I am delighted to be able to announce that our new leader will be Sarah McDonald. Sarah is currently Associate Vicar of Hope Church Islington, an Anglican church in London and part of the HTB network of churches. Sarah has responsibility for the Nags Head Church Community – a weekday church plant operating out of a coffee shop. She trained for Ordination at St Mellitus and is passionate about people discovering the call God has for their lives (whether they know him yet or not!).
Sarah has recently got engaged to Ben Haden and they plan to get married early next year before moving to Cheltenham. She has a dog called Tia (tiathefoxdog on Instagram), enjoys running, board games and supporting Brighton and Hove Albion (SEAGULLS!).
We hope that Sarah will start with us in early March. In the meantime CNC will continue to run as detailed in the Family News that Clare sent out in August. If you have any questions please speak to me or one of the other Trustees.
Please pray for Sarah as she starts to prepare to join us, for Sarah and Ben as they plan their wedding and move to Cheltenham, and pray that the Lord will speak to her and us so that together we can discern where God is leading CNC over the next few years.
A huge thank you to everyone that has been involved in the application process. Please continue to pray for all who are involved in running CNC during the remainder of the vacancy.
