Goodbye from Jo
Time is a strange thing! In some ways the last three years seem to have gone in the blink of an eye since arriving at CNC with nervous anticipation, and in other ways looking back on all that has happened it feels way more than three years. A curacy is a training time, and I have learnt lots about service leading and preaching in diverse settings of CNC, Warden Hill and St Peters, and have come to love the diversity of the Church even more. I’ve learnt about walking alongside people when there are no easy answers…and so much more.
Now it’s time to say goodbye and thank you, thank you for giving me space to learn and grace when I have not quite got it right. I have loved being with you and will keep praying for you as you enter this exciting new phase and please do be praying for me!
If you are able to come, it will be lovely to see you at my licensing at St Catharine’s 7pm on 5th September. Until then I hope summer is a restful and recharging time for you all. Much love Jo
CNC Rag Rug – 2 years ago at the last weekend, away we started a CNC rag rug. The lettering part is finished, but more old blue denim fabric is needed to complete the rug. Any old jeans or blue denim fabric gratefully received by Sarah Meade. Please also let her know if you would like to do a bit of the rug – it is a great thing to do while praying for CNC and our wider community.
